A number of new weather warnings have come into effect in Clare as the current cold snap is set to continue until the end of this week.
While a status orange snow/ice warning for Clare was lifted at 8pm on Sunday, a new status yellow snow/ice warning for all of Ireland will come into effect at midday and will remain valid until 12 midday on Tuesday.
Met Éireann has issued a separate status yellow low temperature / ice warning for the whole country and that will remain in place until midnight on Friday (Thursday night).
The lowest temperatures are expected on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

In an update, Shannon Airport, which dealt with four diverted flights on Sunday, says it is "fully operational" this Monday but that there have been some early-morning delays.
Intending passengers are being advised to check its website and social media channels for updates throughout the day and to contact their airline.
