Met Éireann is warning there is a potential for localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions in Clare this weekend due to expected heavy rainfall.
The forecaster has issued a 24-hour status yellow rain warning for Clare and five other counties - Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Galway - for this coming Saturday.
The status yellow warning, which will come into effect at midnight on Saturday, says "heavy and persistent rain" is likely throughout the day.

In its latest forecast for the weekend, Met Éireann says Saturday will be "Wet and breezy with showery outbreaks of rain" across the country.
Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees can be expected in fresh south or southeast winds.
"It will also be wet at first on Saturday night with widespread outbreaks of showery rain, gradually becoming confined to the north and east by morning as drier and clearer conditions move in from the southwest. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with southerly winds falling light," adds the forecast.
