Yellow snow and ice warnings have been updated to include more counties.
Met Éireann has updated status yellow snow and ice warnings to include Clare, Tipperary, Galway, Laois, Westmeath, Offaly and Wicklow.
Sleet and snow may accumulate and turn to rainfall, contributing to dangerous driving conditions in these counties. The warnings are in place until 3am Thursday, February 8 to 1pm the same day.

The status yellow warning was originally in place for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon and Longford but has now been extended to cover more of the country.
Poor visibility and ice on untreated surfaces are being forecast. The warning for the latter counties is in place from 5am this Thursday until 8pm that night.
