Shannon Airport temporarily closes due to fog

SHANNON Airport is temporarily closed this Sunday morning as a result of heavy fog.
“We anticipate some disruption to our schedule this morning. Fog is expected to clear circa 10am.
“All passengers are advised to check with their airlines in advance of travelling to the airport. Thank you,” reads a post shared on Shannon Airport’s social media feeds early this Sunday morning.
it is the second time in a week that fog has disrupted flights at the airport.
