Repairs to burst water mains in West Clare to cause traffic disruptions

REPAIRS to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to areas in West Clare this Monday.

A traffic management plan will be also in place for the duration of the works, which will affect Newtown Carrigaholt and surrounding areas in Co. Clare.

Works are scheduled to take place until 5pm this Monday evening, November 6.

"We recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return," Uisce Éireann said in a notice.

Mains repair works is also taking in Ballyogan, Barefield and surrounding areas in East Clare until 3pm this Monday.
