A west Clare hotel has submitted a planning application that will double the amount of holiday accomodation on its site.
Hotel Doolin have submitted an application to Clare County Council to convert eight existing holiday homes into sixteen "holiday suites".
The development at the west Clare village would also include "the demolition of rear garden walls, construction of external terraces to the rear and associated ancillary site works."

Submissions and observations regarding this development can be made in writing to the Planning Section, Clare County Council, New Road, Ennis until Wednesday, September 25.
A decision is due regarding the planning application on October 16, 2024.
