PICTURES: Clare's new Garda Tractor on its first week in the Banner County

The newest addition to the garda fleet in Clare has been welcomed to the Banner County by the public on its first week.

An Garda Síochana have added a tractor to the Clare/Tipperary Division fleet,  "on generous loan" from WR Shaw Ltd in Offaly for November and December.

"The New Holland T6.155 tractor will be used by Community Engagement Gardaí for road safety and farm safety training for primary school children and to engage with the public," An Garda Síochána Clare posted on social media.

This week the tractor "has received a great welcome from both young and old and has really made our road safety and farm safety talk become a reality," they shared.

The garda tractor has visited  Kilmihil N.S, Kerry Co-Op Kilrush, Inch N.S, Ruane N.S, Toonagh N.S, Coore N.S, Mullagh N.S, Kilmihil Hardware Shop, Meaney’s Shop Cree, Crowley Contractors and McNamara Contractors West Clare, and The Declan Ryan Memorial Tractor Run Quin in aid of Milford Hospice.
