All-Ireland hurling champions Clare took the Liam MacCarthy on a visit to the patients in Children's Health Ireland at Temple Street.
The team stopped off for a visit before setting off for their triumphant return to The Banner County.
A homecoming celebration hosted by Clare County Council will take place at 6pm this Monday evening, July 22, at Active Ennis Tim Smythe Park (formerly known as the Fair Green) in Ennis.
