After an extraordinary and historic final against Cork, Clare are the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions of 2024.

It was a nail-biting game that saw the two sides level 14 times over the 96 minutes of play, including injury and extra time, the first hurling final to ever go to extra time.

With the score still level after the first ten minutes of extra play it seemed we were destined for a replay and a repeat of the last time the Rebel and the Banner met in Croke Park in 2013.

But a flurry of scores saw Clare pull ahead by one point in the final minutes and Cork's last shot of the game went wide, sealing their fate and cementing Clare's hard-won victory and their fifth ever All-Ireland title.
