One Clare lucky listener wins €6.5k windfall, just in time for Christmas!
A WINDFALL of €6,500 has dropped at one Clare man’s lap, just in time for Christmas.
Andrew Shine, in Ennis, won the €6.5k as he was a lucky listener on Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio breakfast show, Colm & Lucy in the Morning.
After six months and tens of thousands of hopeful morning commuters guessing, Andrew came out on top in the competition ‘What Lucy Said to Colm’, with the winning word being ‘granny’!
Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio CEO, Kevin Branigan dropped down the giant cheque personally to Andrew in his Ennis home, who says his family plan on spending the winnings on a “bigger car to accommodate the upcoming addition”.
“We were all on the edge of our seats for six months with What Did Lucy Say To Colm and it couldn't have gone to a nicer listener!,” said Mr Branigan.
