New traffic calming measures planned for several locations in Clare town
Public consultation process is underway as views are sought
MOTORISTS and road users are being advised of proposals to install new traffic calming measures at several locations in Ennis
In a public notice, Clare County Council says the works will be carried out on the R458 at Skehanagh, at Doora (L4114), on the R469 between Quin Road and Culligan's Cross, at Gaurus (L4118) and at Lees Road (L4180).
A public consultation is now underway and this will continue until February 19, next.
If approved, the works will involve the installation of additional road markings and the installation of rumble strips at each of the locations.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed scheme can be viewed here and any submissions or observations should be made in writing or by email before 4pm on February 19, 2024.
