Motorists are being advised that a section of the N68 between and Ennis and Kilrush will be closed overnight to facilitate 'emergency tree removal'.
In a public notice, Clare County Council says the closure, at Knockalough, Kilmihilwill, be in place from 10pm this Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday and that local diversions will be in place.
Traffic will diverted via the R484 at Kilmihil and L2078 at Lack West (see below).

It's understood that where possible emergency access will be maintained during the works.
