Each workshop is intended to suit a different group
Creativity will shine in the lead up to Christmas this year as the Clare Museum is set to hold Christmas card-making workshops for children and teens in the run up to the festive period.
These workshops will be hosted by creative facilitator Aideen Sweeney and visual artist Rachel MacManus for the next four weeks on the following Saturdays: November 29, December 6, 13 and 20.
Workshops will take place in the Clare Museum from 11am to 12:30pm and will provide children with the opportunity to tap into their creativity in a relaxed and fun environment. Parents and carers will have the opportunity to explore everything on offer around the town in the run up to Christmas.

Each workshop is intended to suit a different group. 4-7-year-olds are invited to attend the workshop on November 29 while 8-10-year-olds can head to the workshop on December 6.
8–14-year-olds who identify as differently-abled and/or neurodivergent are welcome to the workshop on December 13. 11-14-year-olds can then have fun at the workshop on December 20.
These will coincide with Clare Museum’s Vintage Christmas Card Exhibition, which takes place from December 2 to January 3, 2026.
Bookings are now being taken by Clare Museum for the workshops. Admission is free but places are limited and must be booked by emailing claremuseum@clarecoco.ie and specifying which workshop you would like to book. Please include your child’s name and age. Telephone bookings will not be accepted.
