According to Clare FM, at least one person was hospitalised following the crash as a precautionary measure
The M18 has reopened following a huge crash last night in the Newmarket on Fergus area.
Gardaí in Clare attended the scene of a seven-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Tuesday evening, September 9. It is understood that the incident took place at approximately 6pm.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that no injuries were reported at this time.

According to Clare FM, at least one person was hospitalised following the crash as a precautionary measure. They also reported that some motorists were allowed to leave the scene once their vehicles were dubbed safe, however, other cars had to be recovered by tow trucks.
It is not yet known how the seven-car crash occurred but Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
