A stunning night of music, fun and heritage is awaiting locals as Clarecastle's Culture Night is now set to take place.

A project of Clarecastle Community Development CLG and supported by Clare Arts Office, the night promises to deliver the very best of what the village and beyond has to offer.

The event will be held on Friday, September 19 at the Hurst Botanicals Cafe, with doors opening at 6:45pm where cocktails, mocktails, teas and coffees will all be available to purchase.

At 7:15pm, a community open mic night will begin where locals can sing the night away ahead of some incredible performances, beginning at 8pm.

There will also be an interview with Nigel Bridge, Clarecastle’s most celebrated pianist, organist, choirmaster and raconteur.

Also on the night, there will be introductions as Gaeilge by Síle Ní Dheargáin, including images from the village's Ballyea Heritage Group.

Admission to the Clarecastle Culture Night is free but places are limited.

To enquire about signing up for the open mic, please email clarecastleculture@gmail.com soon as spaces will also be limited.
