An Garda Síochána Clare wishes to remind the public that a large number of firearm renewals are due in the upcoming months.
Owners of firearms can submit their renewal by post or can present at any Garda Station in the Clare District.
Those living in West Clare can present to any Garda Station or Kilrush Garda Station, which is open 24 hours seven days a week. People residing in Loop Head can attend Ennis Garda Station to renew their licence.

Residents in the Killaloe, Scariff, Feakle and Killanena areas can now present to Killaloe Garda Station or their new District HQ at Nenagh Garda Station.
For those due after March, you can renew it early and the date will remain the same even though it was renewed before the deadline.
For example, if a firearm is due to be renewed in July of this year and it is renewed now the date of renewal will be July 2028, as it is always three years after the original date.
