Shannon Airport is advising holidaymakers to book car parking "at least" two weeks in advance of flights.
According to an airport spokesperson, the recommendation to pre-book so far ahead of time comes as peak season is in full swing.

By booking early, it's hoped that travellers can avoid disappointment and inconvenience while also getting the best price.
According to the Shannon Airport booking website, the Long Stay Green car park - just two to three minutes walk from the airport - is currently sold out for the next week.
Many dates for the Park4Less car park are also sold out over the next week.
