System upgrades at Shannon Airport could cause 'temporary disruptions' for passengers

Shannon Airport have issued passengers with a warning over "temporary disruptions" at the Mid-West airport due to parking system upgrades.

Acording to a post on the airport's official social media on Monday, May 13, passengers may encounter difficulties while using the parking payment system due to upgrades to the car parking system this week.

"Please be advised that we are currently upgrading our Car Parking system, and this may cause some temporary disruption to passengers this week", the airport shared on social media.

"If you encounter any difficulties when paying for parking, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff for assistance."
