Clare drivers 'failure to yield' lands them in court for more offences

A motorist in Clare who failed to yield on a roundabout has landed herself in court for multiple infractions.

"While on patrol our Roads Policing unit saw this vehicle failing to yield to traffic already on a roundabout,"An Garda Síochana Clare shared in a Facebook post.

"When stopped the driver said she hadn't seen the other car."

Further checks by gardaí revealed that the driver was not insured on the car she was driving and she did not hold a valid licence.

"The driver will now face a fine and points for failing to yield and a court appearance for driving uninsured," gardaí said.

The car was seized.
