Black Toyota one of three cars stolen in Clare over three days

A silver Toyota taken from a supermarket car-park in Shannon in the middle of the day was one of three vehicles stolen in county Clare over the space of a week.

Gardaí in Clare are investigating the unauthorised taking of three vehicles in Ennis and Shannon.

The silver Toyota Aqua was the third vehicle to be stolen between Wednesday, April 17 and Friday April 19.

It was taken at around 2.30pm on Thursday, April 18 from the Lidl car-park in Shannon town centre.

Gardaí said that according to witnesses, a second vehicle "pulled up beside the silver Toyota Aqua, broke into the vehicle and drove it away".

Two cars were also taken from the Ennis area.

A silver Audi A6 was stolen from Steele’s Terrace, Lifford, between Wednesday evening, April 17, at 7pm and Thursday morning, while a black Toyota Aqua hatchback Toyota was taken sometime between Thursday at 3pm and Friday at 1pm from Clon Road in Ennis.

Anyone that may have witnessed this incident or may have Dashcam footage or CCTV footage is asked to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.
