Aldi to open second store in Ennis

The store will also create 30 permanent jobs in the locality once completed, and is set to open later this year

Aldi to open second store in Ennis

Aldi Ireland have announced that work has commenced on its newest store in Ennis, its second location in the town.

The new premises is located in Westpoint Retail Park, and will create 50 jobs for the area during its construction phase.

The store will also create 30 permanent jobs in the locality once the building works are completed, and is set to open later this year.

The supermarket will be powered by 100% renewable electricity and will feature a 96-space car park, with an additional 20 bike-parking spaces for customers cycling to the store.

Four free-to-use electric vehicle charging points will also be available for customers.
