One of West Clare's most iconic restaurants is searching for their next Head Chef.
Monks Ballyvaughan Seafood Restaurant & Bar is looking for a Head Chef to oversee "all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations", according to the job listing.
The role will involve contributing to the design of the food menu, ensuring the production of high-quality dishes that excel in both presentation and taste.
Additionally, the Head Chef will supervise kitchen staff, assist with menu planning, manage inventory, and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked with supplies.
Qualifications should include proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment and extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, food safety and sanitation standards.
Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience is preferred.
