A JUNIOR soccer club in Clare have carried out an investigation after a image connected to the club showing illegal substances was circulated on social media.

Avenue United Football Club, based in Ennis, posted a statement on their website and across social media after a picture showing a person holding up the clubs new jerseys with alcohol and drugs paraphernalia clearly visible in the background.
