Investigation launched following criminal damage incident in Clare town

Gardaí in Ennis are renewing their appeal for information following an incident of criminal damage in the town earlier this month.

Damage was caused to the front door of a house in the Moinear estate at around 8pm on February 4 - the day after the bank holiday.

Further details of the incident and the precise nature of the damage caused has not been disclosed publicly.

"Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed this incident or who might have information in relation to the damage caused, to please contact Ennis garda station on 065 6848100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.

Investigations are ongoing.
