The Clare Roads Policing Unit have issued a fixed charge penalty notice to a driver in Ennistymon. Gardai were conducting a checkpoint in the Clare town when they stopped the car. (picture of tyre above)
It was found that the driver was unaccompanied learner with no L plates displayed & that their tyres were defective.
