A LARGE quantity of trees which were stolen in Clare sees gardaí appeal to public for any information they may have.

Gardaí in Ennistymon are investigating the theft of a large quantity of sapling trees from the Martry area. 

This theft occurred between last Tuesday at 4pm, January 30 and Wednesday morning, January 31 at 9am.

The trees were stored in bags and each bag was labelled.
