A LOCAL shop in Clare, which was subject to a robbery which turned violent, has sparked a garda investigation.
Gardaí are investigating an incident of robbery from Sunday, November 26, at the Daybreak shop on Lahinch Road in Ennistymon.
A staff member was threatened with a screwdriver during the incident. It happened at approximately 4:50pm.
If there were any witnesses to this incident or if anyone noticed anything suspicious in the Ennistymon area around this time, or has any information in relation to this incident, they can contact Kilrush Garda Station on 065- 9050880 or any Garda station.
