GARDAÍ in Clare have seized a vehicle and issued a number of fines to a disqualified driver driving on a Clare road without a valid NCT.
The Clare Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Ennis at the weekend when their on board Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system alerted them to a vehicle not having an NCT.
Upon stopping the vehicle, gardaí also found two children not properly restrained, the driver was disqualified due to penalty points.
There was also an active warrant for their arrest for other traffic offences.
The driver was arrested and charged, their car was seized and they were issued with fines and points for the NCT and child seat offences.
