ONE CLARE group, looking for migrant species of birds, are meeting up again to pursue their search.
The Clare branch of Birdwatch Ireland are uniting this Saturday, October 7 for a joint outing with the Limerick members.
The outing is to Kilbaha and Loop Head, where the groups will hope to spot some “migrant species” and possibly, to “encounter new species”.
The groups will “meet at The Lighthouse Inn Kilbaha at 9.30am”, a spokesperson said.
“We will walk along the road towards the lighthouse and depending on what is about, we will head out to the lighthouse car park for further observations.
“And, of course, the usual warning that no sightings are guaranteed.”
