School bus service from Clare towns and villages set to resume

The service will resume early next month

BUS Éireann has confirmed it will recommence its school transport service from Tuamgraney in East Clare to Villiers secondary school in Limerick city early next month.

The route was one of the small number of services across the country which had been suspended due to driver shortages on some contracted Bus Eireann services.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the transport company said: "The school bus service will recommence on Monday,  October 2."

The spokesperson added that families were notified by email of the change earlier this week.

The service will also pass through Killaloe and Clonlara once it resumes.
