Three burglaries in two busy Clare towns cause concern for gardaí

THREE burglaries took place In the early hours of Wednesday last, August 2, in two busy Clare areas.

Gardaí are appealing for people to come forward in the Clarecastle or Shannon areas, who might have witnessed something suspicious, as four males in a black car were involved. 

The first robbery occurred at a business premises on Main Street, Clarecastle between 1am and 1:24 am. The rear door was forced, entry gained and a quantity of cigarettes stolen. 

At approximately 4:30am, two business premises in the Shannon Town Centre were also broken into by forcing the front door of both premises. 

If anyone was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or has dash cam footage we would ask them to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
