Gardaí 'anxious' to speak French national over incident in Clare town

GARDAÍ in Clare are 'anxious to speak' to a French national who recently visited the county in relation to an incident last week.

Ennis Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred between 2 and 3am on Saturday morning last.

They are looking to speak with a French national who may have been staying in rented accommodation.

According to An Garda Síochána, the man has good English and is believed to have been in staying in the county for a brief period of time.

In particular Gardaí are seeking information from anyone with properties for rent in the Ennis town area who may have had a booking recently from an individual who matches this description,
