Gardaí investigate a number of burglaries in Clare town

Gardaí at a Co Clare Garda Station are investigating a number of burglaries which occurred last week.

Three burglaries took place in the Killaloe/Ballina in the early hours of last Thursday, which are being investigated by Killaloe Garda Station.

Ina statement Gardaí said that at approximately 2.30am, a shop on Convent Hill was entered and a quantity of electronic equipment and a safe containing cash was stolen.

Around 2.40am a shop in Derg Court, Ballina was entered and the till drawer was stolen.

A short time later a shop in Cullina, Ballina was also entered and a purse containing cash was stolen. Entry was gained to all these premises by forcing the front doors.

If anyone has any information in relation to these incidents or if anyone witnessed anything they should contact their local Garda Station, any Garda Station or the Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
