Gardaí in Shannon are appealing for witnesses
Gardaí in Shannon are investigating a "very distressing incident" after a gang of youths smashed the window of a car while the driver was inside.
The vehicle involved, a white Volkswagen Golf, was parked in the Moy Park estate in Shannon on Tuesday morning, November 19, just before 1am.
These youths smashed the driver’s window of the vehicle. The three suspects then fled the scene and the owner sought assistance from Shannon Gardaí.
"This was a very distressing incident for the owner as the owner was sitting in the vehicle when the incident occured," a spokesperson for An Garda Síochana said.
They are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or have any information in relation to it to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 369100.
