In front of more than 20,000 supporters, Cork controlled the first half and deservedly led by 12 points at the break.
Clare rallied in the second half and having drawn level for the first time with less than 2 minutes or normal time to play, Brian Lohan's side than took the lead deep into additional time.
However, a last-gasp free converted by substitute Declan Dalton ensured the Allianz League champions salvaged a draw on a final score of Clare 3-21 Cork 2-24.
Next up for Clare is a trip to Walsh Park in Waterford at 2pm next Sunday while Cork will take on Tipperary at Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 4pm on the same day.
