Clare team named for crucial All Ireland quarter-final clash against Wexford

Brian Lohan has named his Clare squad to travel to Thurles this Saturday and face Wexford in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final.

The only change sees Darragh Lohan dropping to the bench to make way for David Reidy as starting corner forward.

It's currently 4-1 to the Banner in the last five meetings between Clare and Wexford, with Clare favourites to go on and face either Limerick or Kilkenny in the semi-finals.

 

Starting: Eibhear Quilligan; Adam Hogan, Conor Cleary, Conor Leen; Diarmuid Ryan, John Conlon, David McInerney; David Fitzgerald, Cathal Malone; Tony Kelly, Mark Rodgers, Peter Duggan; Aidan McCarthy, Shane O’Donnell, David Reidy.

Throw-in for Clare v Wexford is at 3.15pm on Saturday June 22 at FBD Semple Stadium, part two of a double header quarter final that sees Cork face Dublin at 1.15pm
