It takes nothing to be kind and An Garda Síochána Clare have proved that, with their new initiative that makes sure no one is left out of the Christmas fun.
As we all know, the festive season can be a hard time for many, particularly the elderly, some of which who don't have family around to celebrate with.
The gardaí are all too aware of this, and wanted to do something to spread the holiday cheer, and so, they decided to go all around County Clare, hand-delivering delicious meals to those who need them most.

Taking to social media, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána Clare, said, "It’s a wrap!!! Gardaí from Shannon Garda Station got to deliver almost 400 meals over the last 3 days. Thanks so much to everyone that made this possible. It was great meeting you all."
This news comes just hours after the annual Shannon Garda Senior Citizens Christmas party, which happened today, December 17, at 12:30pm and was truly the festive event of the season!
The event, which took place in the Goal Post bar, in Wolfe Tone's na Sionna GAA club, was filled with classic Christmas music, amazing fashion, and all the festive feelings, which welcomed crowds from Shannon, Sixmilebridge, Newmarket on Fergus, Bunratty and the Cratloe Area.
It undoubtedly got everyone ready for Christmas celebrations, which is just over a week away now.
