"She wasn’t just our neighbour - she was like family to us. Ann had a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, whether it was a friendly chat over the wall, her infectious laugh that could brighten any day or the countless small acts of kindness that showed just how caring she was.
"The memories of Ann will forever hold a special place in our hearts. She helped shape so many wonderful childhood memories and taught us what it means to be a true friend and neighbour. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know her.
"During this incredibly difficult time, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Ann’s beautiful spirit and the love she shared will never be forgotten. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace," they concluded.
The mother-of-two reposed at Mc Mahon's funeral home in Newmarket on Fergus on Monday, August 11. Her funeral service will take place today (Tuesday, August 12) in the Shannon Crematorium at 11am.
