The bodies of Joe and Claire Collins were found at their home last week
THE funeral is taking place this Monday of Joe and Claire Collins, who died following a suspected murder-suicide last week.
The bodies of the married couple, Claire (51) and Joe (54) were discovered at their home in Kilnaboy, near Corofin, Clare on Thursday.
Numerous tributes have been paid to the couple, who have two adult daughters, Sara and Tara. Mr and Mrs Collins had just recently become grandparents.
Reposal took place at St. Brigid's Church, Corofin on Sunday evening and a private cremation service will take place on Monday afternoon following their funeral Mass.
An incident room has been established at Ennis garda station and a file is to be prepared for the local Coroner.
Gardai have confirmed they are not seeking anybody else in relation to what happened.
