Damage to 'brand new' playground in Clare prompts garda investigation

GRAFFITI done in a 'brand new' playground in one Clare seaside town has sparked a garda investigation.

Gardaí in Kilkee are investigating an incident of criminal damage to the playground in Chapel Street, Kilkee.

The graffiti to the play area was done sometime between Friday, November 24 and Monday, November 27.

It is understood that the playground cost a total of €66,000 and that it is 'brand new'.
