Gardaí appeal for witnesses as parked car is found damaged in Clare estate

The owner discovered that their vehicle was damaged when they were leaving home on Thursday morning

Gardaí in Ennis are investigating an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle in the town. 

Taking place on Wednesday, July 30, a car was parked in the estate of Shallee Drive. Gardaí believe the offence was committed at 8pm.

Hours later, the owner discovered that their vehicle, a white Volkswagen Jetta, was damaged when they were leaving home on Thursday morning at 7:30am.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the town said, "Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or may have observed a person or a group on Shallee Drive between Wednesday evening at 8pm and Thursday morning at 7.30am. If you have any information please contact us at Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100."
