Clare Gardaí appeal for witnesses after trailer is stolen in early-morning incident

According to Gardaí, the trailer was seen being towed by a black jeep/SUV heading in the direction of Miltown Malbay

Gardaí in Clare are appealing for witnesses after a trailer was stolen and later seen being towed in Miltown Malbay. 

Gardaí in the town are investigating this theft, which occurred on Tuesday, June 17, at approximately 1:30am. 

The injured party discovered that their silver Ifor Williams Double axle cattle trailer was missing and reported the incident.

According to Gardaí, the trailer was seen being towed by a black jeep/SUV heading in the direction of Miltown Malbay. 

At the time of this theft, the trailer had a registration plate of 231-CE. 

Investigating Gardaí would like to speak to anyone that may have been in this area between Monday night, June 16 and Tuesday morning, June 17. Specifically between the hours of 1am and 3am. 

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the town said, "If you were in the area or have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact Milltown Malbay Garda Station on 065 7084222."
