APPEAL: Gardai seek help in locating van stolen from car park in Clare village

The white Citroen Berlingo Van was taken from the car park in the village sometime between 8am and 12.30pm on February 5

Gardaí in Ennis are appealing for information following the brazen theft of a van from a public car park in Clarecastle last week.

The white Citroen Berlingo Van was taken from the car park in the village sometime between 8am and 12.30pm on February 5.

"The owner parked the van and was working in the vicinity of the vehicle when it was stolen," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the car park in Clarecastle on the day and who saw anything unusual or suspicious to contact them. They are also appealing to anyone who may have seen the van since to come forward.
