A STIHL chainsaw was one of the items stolen
Gardai in Ennistymon are appealing for information after a significant quantity of power tools were stolen during a burglary which took place in broad daylight, a week ago.
Making the appeal for assistance, crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan said a property at Rushaun, Kilnamona - between Ennis and Ennistymon - was entered shortly after 10.30am on Monday, January 27.
A number of items were taken during the burglary including an orange and white-coloured STIHL chainsaw; a green Hikok 9 inch angle grinder; a green and blue Makita wet angle grinder; a green and blue Makita circular saw; a green and blue Makita SDS cordless drill and two green and blue Makita battery packs.
Gardai believe the culprit or culprits used transport of some description to remove the tools, which are worth several thousand euro, from the property.
