Almost €1,000 worth of tools stolen from Clare shed during burglary

Gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place in Shannon in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.

The perpetrators gained access to an exterior shed in the Carraig Lia estate.

Gardaí in Shannon believe the window for the crime was between 1.30am and 2.30am on Wednesday morning, August 21.

A number of tools were stolen including a Tital Hilti Drill, Hercules Red Crow Bar, Dewalt Combo Drill and Impact Drill, Dewalt Circular Saw and Dewalt Hammer Drill, worth over €800.

Gardaí also believe that a black vehicle was used in the commission of this crime.

They are appealing to anyone that may have observed this black vehicle or the perpetrators in the Carraig Lia estate to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.
