Ennis Gardaí are appealing to the public for their assistance after a young man was robbed in Ennis over the bank holiday weekend.
An 18 year old male was approached by two males that were not known to him after he got off the bus in Ennis town centre at approximately half past twelve in the early hours of Saturday morning, August 3.
Two males then followed this young man and demanded money from him.

They took his ATM card and walked with him to the AIB atm on Bank Place where they forced the injured party to enter his pin number and they withdrew money from his account.
The young man ran and stopped a passing taxi at approximately 1am on Saturday morning, who took him home.
The injured party described the perpetrators as two males dressed in black puffa jackets.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed two men matching this description in Ennis town before or after this crime occurred to please contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
