Man arrested in Shannon following 'criminal damage' to home in the town

A man in his 20s has been arrested for allegedly causing damage to a home in Shannon last Sunday night.

Gardaí are currently investigating criminal damage to a residential property in the Cronan Lawn estate in Shannon on Sunday evening, June 16 at 9.23pm.

Significant damage was caused to the front windows of this home.

A male in his twenties was arrested shortly after the incident and was subsequently detained at Shannon Garda Station and charged to appear before the District Court Tuesday, June 18.

Although there is an offender in custody charged in relation to this incident, Gardaí are still appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or have information in relation to it, to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
