Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a number of burglaries that occurred in two Clare towns on the same night last weekend.
The first of the three incidents occurred at 1.11am on Saturday when three men entered a commercial premises near Clareabbey in Ennis. "Five minutes later, they left the scene in a dark-coloured BMW, travelling in the direction of the Ennis Bypass," said a garda spokesperson.
The next two burglaries happened between 1.30am and 1.52am later on the same morning, at two commercial premises in Ballycasey Crescent, Shannon.
"The perpetrators caused a significant amount of damage to both premises and these events may have been witnessed by local residents," said the spokesperson.
Gardai have not confirmed what was taken from the premises.

Gardai believe the culprits used the same car in all three incidents and they are appealing to anyone who saw a dark-coloured BMW travelling between Ennis and Shannon around the time of the burglaries to contact them.
"If anyone has any information in relation to these burglaries, please contact Ennis garda station on 065 6848100 or Shannon garda station on 061 365900," said a spokesperson.
