Mainly dry on Wednesday morning with sunny spells. Rain is expected later in the evening, currently it looks like the west and north will see the heavier spells with the south staying mainly dry but there is uncertainty associated with the track of this rain. Highest temperatures 14 to 17 degrees. Winds will be mainly moderate, occasionally fresh southwesterly.
Thursday will be dry with isolated showers for the bulk of the day with another spell of rain approaching from the west in the evening. Highest temperatures 15 to 17 degrees with southerly winds developing.
The current signal for the extended outlook is for a freshening southerly wind on Friday to bring warmer conditions for a time over the weekend, although there is also a signal for that same wind to bring rain in to the west and north.
