TODAY, FRIDAY: Most places will be dry today with sunny spells, and just the chance of an odd light shower bubbling up in the afternoon and early evening. It'll feel much milder with highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees in a light northerly breeze.

OVERVIEW: High pressure becoming more dominant. Largely dry and mild today and tomorrow. Turning cooler from Sunday.

TONIGHT: Dry with long clear spells. Areas of mist and fog will develop in the near calm conditions. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

TOMORROW, SATURDAY: Any patchy mist and fog will soon clear on Saturday morning, leaving a mostly dry day with spells of hazy sunshine. Isolated showers are possible in the afternoon and cloud will thicken from the west during the evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light, variable breezes.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Saturday night will be cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle developing in the north and west. Winds will be generally light southwest or variable but will increase moderate to fresh near Atlantic coasts. Milder than recent nights with temperatures staying above 9 or 10 degrees.
